Program Description

MASTERY SUMMER SKATING & SKILL CAMP

August 10–14 | Ray Friel Arena- Pad 3
1:15–3:15 PM Daily

This five-day camp is designed for athletes looking to refine their skating and puck skills in a high-tempo, detail-driven environment. Players will focus on sharpening the tools already in their skill set while executing movements with greater precision, speed, and control.

Sessions challenge athletes to perform skills intentionally and consistently while applying them in game-relevant situations.

This camp is open to both boys and girls and provides a focused, high-energy development environment for players committed to improving their performance.

Development Approach

The Mastery pillar focuses on refining the details that elevate performance. Athletes work on sharpening the tools already in their skill set while developing greater precision, timing, and efficiency in their movements.

Each session emphasizes intentional repetition and focused coaching feedback so athletes can improve execution at game speed. Drills are designed to challenge players technically while encouraging them to perform each repetition with purpose and attention to detail.

ON-ICE TRAINING

Each session emphasizes precise execution, skating efficiency, and skill application at game pace. Drills are designed to promote:

  • Refined skating mechanics and efficient transitions

  • Puck control and deception at speed

  • Situational decision making

  • Intentional repetition with detailed coaching feedback

Small group instruction ensures athletes receive a high number of puck touches while coaches focus on the fine details that improve execution and overall performance.
