DERIC BOUDREAU
FOUNDER & HEAD INSTRUCTOR
Deric is a former professional hockey player with experience in the CJHL and QMJHL for the Gatineau Olympiques and Ottawa Jr. Senators. He also competed at the USports level with RMC men’s varsity hockey and is a veteran of the Canadian Armed Forces Reserve. With over eight years of coaching experience, Deric works with athletes of all ages and levels—from minor hockey players to NHL athletes. He specializes in skating and skill development, delivering individualized instruction that emphasizes fundamentals, game-relevant skills, and efficient movement. His sessions are fun, competitive, and engaging, creating an environment that challenges athletes while maximizing development and confidence in every session.

KARINE BOUDREAU
DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS
Supporting the day-to-day operations of our skating and skill development programs, Karine brings extensive experience in administration, client services, contracting, and HR. Karine’s behind-the-scenes work helps ensure our athletes, coaches, and families have a seamless, professional experience—allowing everyone to stay focused on performance, development, and success on the ice.

MORGAN MCNEIL
INSTRUCTOR
Morgan is a former Provincial WHL hockey player with the Ottawa Lady Senators and a multi-sport elite athlete. She competed at the NCAA Division 1 level in soccer before returning to Canada to play varsity hockey and soccer at the University of Ottawa, where she captained the women’s soccer team. With a deep understanding of high-performance environments, Morgan specializes in women’s hockey development with a strong focus on long-term athlete growth.

DARREN RUMBLE
INSTRUCTOR & COACH
Darren is a former Ottawa Senator with over 15 years of professional playing experience across the NHL, AHL, IHL, and DEL. He brings more than 20 years of coaching experience at the professional and junior levels, including the AHL, QMJHL, OHL, and USPHL. Darren specializes in teaching strong hockey concepts and elite decision-making, helping players elevate their overall hockey IQ.

MICHAEL KEENAN
INSTRUCTOR
Michael is a graduate of the Royal Military College of Canada with a BA in Business Administration. While at RMC, he competed in varsity hockey and served as team captain. His playing career includes junior hockey in the CJHL and OJHL. Michael has 5 years of instructing experience and brings a disciplined, detail-oriented approach to player development.

BRENT MAURICE
INSTRUCTOR
Brent completed a four-year varsity career at the Royal Military College, where he was twice selected as an OUA All-Star. He has a decade of experience coaching minor hockey throughout the Outaouais region, with a focus on developing strong fundamentals, habits, and accountability. Brent is an active Lieutenant Colonel in the Canadian Armed Forces and brings leadership, structure and professionalism to every session.

PHILIPPE ST-CYR
INSTRUCTOR
Philippe played junior hockey in the highly regarded BCHL before continuing his career at the University of Wisconsin–Superior. Philippe is heavily involved in the minor hockey community throughout the Outaouais and is a father of three, bringing strong leadership and a team-first mindset to db Skating & Skill sessions.

Alex Gudbranson
CONSULTANT
Alex was a former Major Junior and professional hockey player with a career starting in 2010-2020. Throughout his 10 seasons, he played in the OHL, AHL and ECHL, winning the Calder Cup with the Toronto Marlies (AHL) and the Kelly Cup with the Newfoundland Growlers (ECHL).
With a defenseman background, Alex focuses on developing a professional mindset and honing on ice skills aiding players to reach the next level of the hunt.
